Shipping & returns, clearly explained

Vintage pieces deserve careful packing and buyers deserve clear expectations. The item page, cart, checkout, and order messages show the terms that apply to a particular purchase.

Before you buy

Check the fulfillment choices on the item

Available methods can differ by size, weight, fragility, destination, sale type, and whether local pickup is offered. The checkout total is the current source for shipping charges and available destinations.

Parcel shipping

Eligible items are packed for their materials and condition. Tracking and carrier details appear in the order updates when the selected service supplies them.

Local pickup

Pickup appears only when it is available for the order. Wait for the ready notice and follow its location, identification, scheduling, loading, and collection instructions.

Large or unusual finds

Furniture, freight, combined orders, and unusually fragile pieces may need an agreed plan before payment or dispatch. Follow the item-specific notice rather than assuming standard parcel service.

What happens next

From paid order to handoff

  1. Review the confirmation Check the items, delivery method, address, and contact details in the order message. Contact us promptly if something is incorrect.
  2. Watch for the next update A dispatch, tracking, pickup-ready, combined-order, or exception message explains the next step for that purchase.
  3. Inspect the handoff Keep the packaging and photograph the item, box, and label if the shipment arrives damaged or materially different from the listing.

Returns and order concerns

Start with the terms shown for your purchase

Return eligibility, timing, condition requirements, costs, auction terms, and exceptions can vary. The item listing and terms accepted at checkout control the order. Contact us before sending anything back so the correct instructions can be confirmed.

This editable overview does not replace a reviewed store policy, buyer rights that apply by law, or the order-specific terms. Update it whenever those controlled policies change.
